(Sale: Mao and the Arts of New China)

My comment: An outsider, I would have thought artifacts of Mao and Cultural Revolution were myriad as sand. I simply can not understand why Chinese "ripped up" little red book as something of a ritual. Why would the shown porcelain vase disappear?

--------------Separately
My comment: The London-based Financial Times publishes six days a week, except Sunday and holidays. Every Saturday, the newspaper carries a lot of leisure material, such as arts, dramas, food, gardening, travel and country houses. So at first galce, I assume this is is a travelogue, which large pictures of the city. Then I read it * * *

Donald Morrison, An urban morality tale; Chongqing may be a megalopolis but, after a misadventure, Donald Morrison found it full of empathy and charm. Financial Times, Oct. 31, 2009 (title in the print).

Note:
(a) Chaotianmen 朝天门
"长江,嘉陵江交汇处,所在地三面环水,地势中高,虽经过改造,但有长而陡峭的石梯连接江边码头。明初时在此修建城门,因面朝帝都南京,称'朝天门'。" Zh.wikipedia.org

(b) Eling (Goose Neck) Park 鹅岭公园
(c) Ciqikou old town 重庆磁器口古镇 (以明清时盛产瓷器得名)
"'瓷器口'镇名被讹传为'磁器口'” Zh.wikipedia.org

(d) Dazu rock carvings 重庆市大足县 石刻
(e) In the article, 庆 is deemed a combination of 广 and 大. This can only happen in simplified Chinese, whereas the same character  in traditional Chinese is 慶.
