My comment: The quotation is, in my view, the only thing worthy to know in this report. I did not pay attention: in fact the 8% drop was reported on Aug 7. Others in this report depict lethargy of China's economy. But why does this happen, if I believe the report?  Even if China's economy grew at 3.5% (half of the official number), the number is not so bad -- and Chinese should not suffer like that.
