Betsy Vereckey, Boy, What a Fabulous Baker; After a woman swipes right on a man who works at a bakery, she falls for him and his bread. New York Times, Jan 22, 2017 (in the column "Modern Love").

My comment:
(a) The title hints at The Fabulous Baker Boys
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fabulous_Baker_Boys
(a 1989 American film)
, where Baker is the surname of the two brothers.
(b) "In his profile picture [at Tinder App] * * * I swiped right. We matched.  Scanning his Instagram, I realized he made food for a living. * * * As it turned out, his bakery was within walking distance from my apartment" in Brooklyn.

I have never used Tinder, and am clueless how it works. Zena Wozniak, How to Make a Tasteful (Yet Successful) Tinder Profile. Aug 30, 2015

(i) Don't "Quote. What is this? Your info box on AIM?"

AIM stands for "AOL Instant Messenger."
(ii) After reading this, I have the impression that a Tinder user establishes a profile (which may include "an Instagram account or Twitter handle"), and, when matched, make contacts.

I can see that an instagram account supplies baker's name and the address of the bakery.
(iii) What I do not understand about this article are: why does the woman not n make contacts through the app to gauge interest and compatibility of the baker. Surely, she wanted to see the person in person incognito, but if the baker does not  replies to online requests for contacts, it seems to me that there is no point to pursue further, much less ask the man to hang out.
