My comment: Shriners hospital does not charge patients a penny. But due to lack of donation, it closed many hospitals and centers in the previous decade. The Wikipedia pages shows that out of 22 hospitals, only three (in Boston, Massachusetts; Cincinnati, Ohio and Galveston, Texas) do burn repair/ reconstruction work. That is why Jolene, who lives in Maryland, has to travel (by airplane or train) to Boston via Northeast Corridor.
