My comment:
(a) The report identifies "solid-state laser," as opposed to chemical laser.
(b) Also, Raytheon officials declined to disclose the distance, hight and speed of the UAVs.
(c) Previously the targets were missiles in mid-course.

My comment: Major newspaper such as New York Times have drafts for tomorrow's newspaper. So the development is significant. But they also say US has not made the final decision whether the carrier would be deployed in the drill or which side of S Korea it will go in case the carrier will participate.
