Gift to Teachers?

That depends on what kind of teachers you kid has. In public or private system?  Every state has ethics law that bars its public servants from accepting a certain amount of money (or gift with monetary value). In Massachusetts where I live, the limit is $50 a year from ALL sources.

(2) A year and a half year ago, out of curiosity (I am childless) I asked Americans what they gave to teachers (when they were children or when they are parents). They said "nothing" or "an apple."

You know people hate receiving apples in Halloween.
