Some Chinese says China is not interested in either Su-33 or 35,
(1) because Su-35 is very close to Idia's Su-30 MKI, and
(2) because J-15 fighter and WS-10 engine are just around the corner.

BUT
(1) Think about it. Commercial aircraft emphasize safety, not speed, ability
to avoid detection and to detect enemy first. Still China does not have a
track record--this is a courteous way to say it completely fails--to build a
commercial airliner or helicopter. China has to import avionics (and
practically everything else), not just engines.

If China's indigenous fighter jets are so good, why does it vehemently
oppose US selling F-16 C/Ds to Taiwan?

(2) Go to internet and you will find next to nothing with regard to review
of China's fighters. Is it because it is not worth the effort, I do not know.
