My comment:
(a) The English surname Nunn (not Nunns) is from “Middle English nunn ‘nun’ (Old English nunne, from Latin nonna, originally a respectful term of address for an elderly woman.”
(b) In my childhood (before 1970) Taiwanese sold old newspaper and glass bottles (no plastic in use) to street hawkers on a bike with a large cart. After people moved in apartment buildings, such sale became impossible (for households could not hear the hawking).
