(a) USS George Washington (CVN-73)
(the sixth carrier in the Nimitz class; Commissioned 1992; Homeport  Yokosuka Naval Base)   Wikiepdia
(b) Something is wrong with the above report:
(i) The lead ship of the class USS Nimitz (CVN-68; commissioned 1975; Homeport  Naval Station Everett, at Everett (a city 25 miles north of Seattle), Washington) is not yet retired (jargon: decommissioned).
(ii) News.google.com does not have anything about USS George Washington.
(ii) Google "USS George Washington" and one will find
