(i) Claudia Schiffer (born 1970) and English film director Matthew Vaughn (born 1971) were married on May 25, 2002.
(ii) The German/Jewish surname Schiffer means a "mariner or boatman, from an agent derivative of Middle High German schif ship."

(b) "It's said that the 1574 house—built in the shape of an H in honor of King Henry VIII—owes its name to Queen Elizabeth I, who was nonplussed at being served cold ham when she stayed there and thus christened it Coldham Hall.
