Starting left to right, with the left photo (once you click to enlarge) showing the bullet whizzing past after striking his left ear. These are three still photographs, not screenshots taken from a video. The shooting occurred at 6:11 am that day.

The series (of three photos) appeared in print of New York Times, Sunday, July 14, 2024, at page A15 together with another photo (credit: "ERIC LEE/THE NEW YORK TIMES") unaccompanied by a news report, with credit "PHOTOGRAPHS BY DOUG MILLS/THE NEW YORK TIMES" and caption: Former President Donald J Trump was onstage at his Butler, Pa, rally when shots ran out. As Mr Trump was tackled by Secret Service agents, officials shouted for the crowd to duck and cover, below (referencing Lee's photo). The left photo in the print did not show a bullet (even though the the series filled the entire width atop page A15); besides the caption suggested that NYT itself was unaware of the bullet in it (only digital photo, when enlarged, would show the bullet).
