Louis Ojeda Jr., SpaceX to launch Taiwanese satellite. KXXV, June 14, 2010.

My comment:
(a) KXXV is a television station in Waco, Texas, serving Central Texas as an
ABC affiliate. Wikipedia.
(b) PayPal co-founder Elon Musk set up SpaceX in 2002, which now operates
out of Hawthorne, California. Its nexus with Waco, Texas is SpaceX purchased
the McGregor, Texas, testing facilities of defunct Beal Aerospace, where it
refitted the largest test stand at the facilities for Falcon 9 testing.
Wikipedia. City of McGregor is next to and on the southwestern border of
Waco.
(c) This announcement comes on the heels of SpaceX's successful inaugural
flight of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle on June 7, 2010 at Cape Canaveral,
Florida--marking a key milestone for SpaceX and the commercial space flight
industry.

My comment: The caption of the photograph shows AR2, which is the export
name for PHL-03 that China Northern Industries Corp. (Norinco) copies from
Russia. See BM-30 Smerch

(Smerch is Russian for "tornado"--that is why China calls this type of
rocket system 龙卷风; section 4 Operators: among others, "People's Republic
of China: Copied as the PHL-03")
