My comment:
(a) There is no need to read the WSJ report, except the paragraph shown,
which is the last paragraph in the print.
(b) Both reports convey a message from Pentagon that suggests the joint S
Korea-US military exercise at Yellow Sea WILL move forward.
(c) China has not explained why it is so upset about the prospect of joint
exercise at Yellow Sea. It happened before. Indeed a joint exercise was
being conducted while the Korean corvette Cheonan was sinking.
