My comment: Without China as customer, Russia arms export flourishes. Now that Russia is not economically desperate, as it was in 1990s, China has even slimmer chance to but Russian weapons.

My comment: I think militarization and weaponization of outer space is inevitable. Once US demonstrates STSS works in detecting/tracking missile from the launch stage onward, the next logical step is to find a way to destroy missiles in the launch stage, with a missile or laser. China and Russia are too big geographically (compared to N Korea or Iran) to shoot down a missile in that stage with a missile.
