纽约时报一般都会登重要政治演说啊，最高法院候选人听证会全文啊，还有一个关于最高法院的网，更牛，有当时法院判案时的所有录音。大家搜搜the Supreme Court，就能搜到。
在美国就是这点好，信息交流非常灵通。平常老百姓也轻轻松松可以看到很多信息。 我当时在国内一个郁闷的地方就是，找一个东西太难了，书，杂志，报纸，就业考试信息，等等。后来有了互联网好些，但也有很多限制。现在在美国，只要想找的书，不是学校图书馆，公立图书馆，就是书店，网上书店，都能找到。不想买就借。音乐电影也是，可以从图书馆借。 从网上找的音乐，还是有很大限制的。很多CD是找不到的。特别是古典音乐，还有歌剧，芭蕾舞，等等有图像的DVD。我在这里基本是守法公民，不上网download 东西。

不错的想法。你想在这个资料库里包含什么样的资料呢。英文的西方的资料算不算呢。我建议包括美国最高法院的主要判例全文。网上都有。

我倒是觉得，最紧迫的是把自由亚洲电台 RFA 的所有访谈做成资料库，整理成文字。
很多都是非常珍贵的口述历史，具有极高的历史价值。RFA 这个国会资助的电台，做事非常烂，
大量的采访都没有文字稿，录音也没有存档。浪费那些冒着危险接受采访者的心血。
