Latest first.
(1) Vanessa Allen and Michael Seamark, Widow of murdered Old Harrovian expat fears for her life and begs British embassy to help family flee Beijing. Daily Mail, Apr 14, 2012.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ ... y-flee-Beijing.html

Quote:

yesterday "Chinese-born Wang Lulu made a dramatic visit to the British Embassy in Beijing. She is understood to have asked for a visa to escape to the UK with her two young children

"Visitors to the Heywood family home in an exclusive gated compound in Beijing were turned away by troops from the People’s Liberation Army. The presence of the crack troops triggered fears that Mrs Heywood would be barred from fleeing the country

My comment: There is no need to read the rest.

(2) Tania Branigan, China stifles discussion of Neil Heywood Murder Case; Widow ordered not to speak to foreign media as authorities investigate involvement of Bo Xilai's family. Guardian, Apr 13, 2012.

Two consecutive paragraphs:

"'Police officers questioned her recently and warned her not to speak to foreign media,' a source with direct knowledge of the case, who wished to remain anonymous, told Reuters.

"Another source close to the family said: 'It's still difficult to believe. It was absolutely not necessary. The two families were very close. She [Gu] was the godmother of [Heywood's] children.'

My comment: There is no need to read the rest. The parentheses are in original--not supplied by me.
