(3) It is said Trump's transition team Friday (Dec 2) issued a statement that said, "During the discussion, they noted the close economic, political, and security ties (existing) between Taiwan and the United States. President-elect Trump also congratulated President Tsai on becoming President of Taiwan earlier this year."

But I can not find it, although a Taiwanese news report in traditional Chinese said the statemnt appeared in the website of transition team (www.greatagain.gov), which was then deleted; yet I saw no evidence of it (no cache, for example).
