My comment:
(a) The first sentence says, "Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company said that in the second quarter of 2012 sales of wafers processed using 28nm manufacturing technology contributed to 7% of the company's revenue, which means an increase of supply by nearly 70% (if actual revenues are taken into account)."  Presumably the note within the parentheses alludes to record revenue in 2Q12.
(b) What intrigues me is the table whose heading reads, "Contribution of Process Technologies into TSMC's Total Wafer Revenue."
